When we mention the Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation “Dr Miroslav Zotovi\u0107” at the same time we are talking about a tradition of more than 100 years and a health institution that is a synonym for modern medical rehabilitation and orthopedic surgery of the 21st century.<\/p>\n

The tradition of over 100 years began in 1915 when, due to the needs of a large number of wounded from World War I, the Austro-Hungarian military government established the Orthopedic Institute. In 1952, masters in the monastery of the Trappist order Marija Zvijezda started a workshop for the production of orthopedic aids, which is considered the forerunner of today's Institution, which since 1970 bears the name of a respected military surgeon, national hero Dr. Miroslav Zotovic.<\/p>\n
